A visitor center is more than a stop along the way. It is an invitation into a story, a place where heritage, craft, and experience come together in a way people can see, taste, and remember.

The strongest destinations do more than welcome visitors. They invite people into a story, creating experiences that build lasting connections to a place, a craft, and the people behind it.

More Than a Visitor Center

For Bulleit Distilling Co., that story begins long before the first tasting. Champlin Studios designed a visitor center that introduces guests to the heritage of the brand while celebrating its modern approach to whiskey making. Set within the rolling Kentucky landscape, the 9,000-square-foot destination includes tasting rooms, gathering spaces, an auditorium, and retail areas that create a seamless experience from arrival to departure. Every space was designed to reflect the character of the brand while embracing the natural beauty of its surroundings.

The experience unfolds through thoughtful moments that engage the senses. Light, sound, fragrance, and carefully crafted interiors enrich the tasting experience, while expansive views of the surrounding farm connect visitors to the place where the story begins. Throughout the building, architecture and experience work together to celebrate craftsmanship, deepen brand connection, and create memories that extend well beyond the visit.

More than a visitor center, it is a destination that brings people closer to the story behind the bottle and the place that inspires it.
