Transformational Worship
Through adaptive reuse, familiar buildings can take on new purpose, creating environments where faith, community, and connection have room to grow.
That vision shaped Crossroads Mason, where a former 123,000-square-foot industrial manufacturing facility was transformed into a vibrant campus serving Cincinnati’s northeast suburbs. Champlin Studios reimagined the existing building as a place for worship, learning, fellowship, and everyday connection. Rather than erase its history, the design celebrates the building’s industrial character while creating an experience that feels open, welcoming, and centered on people.
A 2,000-seat worship venue, expansive atrium, chapel, Kids’ Club, classrooms, meeting spaces, and café support the many ways people gather throughout the week. Warm gathering areas, intuitive circulation, and family-focused spaces encourage conversation, relationships, and a sense of belonging. More than an adaptive reuse project, Crossroads Mason demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform an existing building into a place that strengthens community, supports ministry, and gives new life to both a building and the people it serves.
