Inspiring Creativity
The arts have the power to bring people together. They inspire curiosity, encourage expression, and create shared experiences that strengthen both individuals and the communities around them. The environments where creativity happens should do the same, inviting collaboration, supporting exploration, and creating opportunities for ideas and talent to be shared.
The Roger Glass Center for the Arts reflects the University of Dayton’s commitment to education, creativity, and community.
Designed as a vibrant home for theatre, dance, media production, visual arts, and performance, the Center creates opportunities for students, faculty, artists, and community members to learn from one another and engage in the creative process together. More than a collection of studios, classrooms, galleries, and performance spaces, it is a place where disciplines intersect, ideas take shape, and creativity becomes visible.
The Center also strengthens the University’s connection to the Dayton community. Partnerships with organizations such as the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company and K12 Gallery create opportunities for performances, exhibitions, and shared cultural experiences that extend learning beyond the campus. Guided by the University’s Catholic Marianist tradition, the building was designed to create a lasting positive impact through both the experiences it supports and its commitment to environmental stewardship.
